Our Baby Care Unit  and  Pre-School Day Nursery are open 52 weeks a year, offering  a structured day's activity for children up to 5 years of age. We receive children from Cambridge, Haverhill, Radwinter and Saffron Walden as well as our local village of Ashdon., 

"We aim to provide the children in our care with a safe, happy and homely environment where they have the opportunity to explore and develop their individuality through discovery, experience and learning".

Established in 1989 and under new management since November 2004, click on globe for map the Baby Care and Nursery operate from  purpose built units in a delightful "green fields" location on the edge of the beautiful village of Ashdon in North Essex, England. The historic University town of Cambridge, Haverhill in Suffolk, the M11 motorway and the Market town of Saffron Walden in Essex are all less than twelve miles away making the Nursery ideally placed.

A recent Ofsted inspection awarded the Ashdon House of Children with four outstanding areas, (the highest mark) and an overall 'good' report. The nursery is currently working towards level 3 of the National Day Nursery Association Accreditation award.

The staff are highly qualified and staff to children ratios range from 1:3 for the youngest to 1:8 for the very eldest.
